Frans & Kapma Foundation
In August the Haytham Safia Qu4rtet played, consisting of four professional musicians from three continents. Young refugees, who found a safe haven in Haarlo, wrote wishes, dreams and messages on colourful flags, which were given a place in front of the PKN church. Their ideals are spread by the wind. The exhibited paintings - from the artist Ida Roekevisch and the Frans and Kapma Foundation - underscored the 'boundless' atmosphere surrounding this 'world concert'.

The live concert in November in PKN-church the 'Kluntjespot' is provided by SaxYOn, a special duo consisting of an accordionist and a saxophonist, both with a classical conservatory education. Their repertoire varied from classical music to passionate tangos and modern compositions; one of the composers was even personally present that night. This time the painting exhibition had TREES as its theme. Again from artist and fellow board member Ida Roekevisch and the Frans & Kapma Foundation, who have already organized five times such an evening and are already making plans for next November.
