Frans & Kapma Foundation
Inside atmospheric lights were lit by the other exhibiting artist, Ida Roekevisch, after which the church was filled with guests. Ellis Frans, secretary of the Frans en Kapma Foundation - along with Ida Roekevisch organizer of the evening - told with passion the story behind the art and introduced the virtuoso playing duo De Thuiskomst: Ellen Zijm, accordion and Quirine van Hoek, violin. An unusual combination, which 'overwhelmed' the attendees with its brilliant performance, varying from tango music by Piazzolla to a 'summer breeze' from Vivaldi's Die Vier Jahreszeiten. The standing ovation at the end was not a form of politeness, but sincere admiration!

Because of the great interest and enthusiasm of everyone such an evening will be organized annually on the first Saturday in November under the title SOUNDS AND ART IN THE KLUNTJESPOT. Moreover, it is planned for next summer also to launch an event with live music.
